Why Circle of the Sea?
An Elf Circle of the Sea Druid is a master of battlefield control, manipulating water and wind to dictate the flow of combat. With Wisdom as your highest stat (15), your spells and subclass abilities will easily overwhelm your enemies. Your Elf heritage grants you the Keen Senses trait, giving you an automatic proficiency in the Perception skill. Combined with your high natural Wisdom, you will spot hidden dangers, traps, and environmental opportunities long before anyone else in your party.
As a battlefield controller, you need to stay conscious and focused to maintain your spell effects. The Elf's Fey Ancestry trait provides advantage on saving throws against being charmed and immunity to magical sleep, ensuring enemy spellcasters cannot easily disrupt your concentration. This protection keeps you safe while using your Wrath of the Sea feature, which conjures a magical, striking aura of ocean spray. This aura allows you to push dangerous enemies away, keeping you safe on the battlefield while you command the tides.
