Why Oath of Vengeance?
Choosing the Oath of Vengeance turns your Paladin into a highly focused "Striker," a party role dedicated to hunting down and eliminating single, high-threat targets. While Halflings are traditionally seen as cheerful folk, their unique racial traits make them surprisingly terrifying vengeance crusaders. With your Luck trait, you can reroll any devastating natural 1s on your attack rolls, ensuring your divine strikes land when they matter most.
This reliability shines brightest when combined with your level 3 subclass feature, Vow of Enmity. This feature lets you focus your holy wrath on a single foe, giving you advantage (rolling two dice instead of one) on all attacks against them. When you combine this advantage with Halfling Luck, your chances of missing are practically zero, making you an absolute nightmare for bosses.
Furthermore, your Halfling Nimbleness allows you to slip through the spaces of larger enemies. This exceptional mobility helps you bypass frontline bodyguards to deliver retribution directly to spellcasters and bosses hiding in the back.
