Why Circle of the Land?
As a Circle of the Land Druid, your main role in the party is a Controller. By utilizing your high Wisdom (WIS) score, you can reshape the battlefield and hinder your enemies. Your subclass grants you access to Circle of the Land Spells, which are bonus spells that are always prepared based on your chosen terrain. To keep you casting, the Natural Recovery feature allows you to regain expended spell slots during a short rest, making you a highly efficient spellcaster.
Playing as a Tiefling enhances this spellcasting playstyle with excellent survival traits. The Fiendish Legacy trait grants you natural resistance to fire damage, which is incredibly useful for a controller who needs to maintain concentration on spell effects while under fire. Additionally, your Darkvision allows you to spot and target enemies in the dark without needing to hold a torch, keeping your hands free for your druidic focus.
