Why Assassin?

Playing a Goliath Assassin Rogue blends the unexpected physical might of giant-kin with the lethal, silent strikes of D&D's ultimate stalker. While Rogues are typically seen as small and nimble, your high Dexterity (15) ensures you are incredibly swift, while your Goliath heritage provides unique survivability. Your Giant Ancestry trait grants supernatural resilience, helping you shrug off damage when a stealthy approach goes sideways and you find yourself in the thick of melee combat.

As an Assassin, your primary goal is to strike first and strike hard. The level 3 Assassinate feature rewards you for catching enemies off guard, granting you devastating advantages and automatic critical hits against surprised targets. This pairs beautifully with your high Dexterity to ensure you act first in initiative.
