Why Draconic Sorcery?
Combining the Tiefling's innate magic with the Draconic Sorcery subclass creates the ultimate "Blaster"—a spellcaster focused on dealing massive elemental damage to groups of enemies. Your primary ability score is Charisma (CHA), which powers both your innate Tiefling spells and your Sorcerer magic. Thanks to your Fiendish Legacy trait, you start with innate resistance to fire damage and gain access to free spells, saving your precious Sorcerer spell slots for other destructive options.
When you choose this subclass, you select a draconic ancestor. Choosing a Red or Gold dragon ancestor perfectly matches your Tiefling heritage, doubling down on fire magic.
