Why Draconic Sorcery?
Embracing your draconic heritage as a Human Sorcerer turns you into a formidable "Blaster"—a spellcaster specialized in dealing massive area-of-effect damage. While Sorcerers are traditionally fragile, the Draconic Sorcery subclass naturally boosts your survivability. With Draconic Resilience, your base defense is calculated as if you are wearing armor, and you get extra hit points every level, keeping you safe on the battlefield.

By utilizing the Versatile trait, you can select an Origin feat at level 1 to bolster your health or expand your spell toolkit early on. Level 14You gain the ability to sprout a pair of dragon wings from your back, gaining a flying speed equal to your current walking speed. You can create these wings as a bonus action on your turn. They last until you dismiss them as a bonus action. You can't manifest your wings while wearing armor unless the armor is made to accommodate them.
Dragon Companion
Level 18You can spend 5 sorcery points as an action to summon a draconic spirit that serves you loyally. The spirit takes the form of a dragon matching your draconic ancestry and fights alongside you. It obeys your commands, acts on your initiative, and remains for 1 hour or until reduced to 0 hit points.
